I was waiting. Well, you made me wait. Hey, Megu-chan. We’ve gotten a late start, but let’s get to it! This is our start!

When Ruri got back to Japan, I joined the School Idol club all on my own cause it looked interesting. I thought I'd have fun when I joined and teamed up with Megu-chan. It’s like, you know. Ruri couldn’t be sure she’d be able to pull this off even with Megu-chan, so just betting it all on us teaming up wouldn’t work. But since I was doing just fine on my own, I didn’t doubt that I could make it work with Megu-chan. I had no idea what was going through Megu-chan’s head when she left the School Idol club though.

When I told Megu-chan “I was waiting” up on stage, she said “I was the one waiting for you.” That’s when I thought, ’thank goodness I became a School Idol’. W-wait, don’t get the wrong idea! It’s not like I wasn’t happy about it before! Don’t go getting any weird ideas! It’s more like, Megu-chan being around was important to me. And, Ruri gets the sense she did something she could only have done as a School Idol. Having the courage to burst into the clubroom that day was definitely not a mistake. Cause, like, no matter how much fun it looks, jumping into an established group like that is insanely scary! Something like that costs a lot of Ruri-Points. Sometimes people confuse Ruri for a Hinoshita-subspecies, but Kaho-chan’s organic, while Ruri’s more cultivated. Ruri’s like a cheap knock-off. Kaho-chan’s way of flying head first into something screaming “This looks fun! Kaboom!” kinda reminds Ruri of Megu-chan, actually. Ahaha!
