Nice, clear! What a win! This is what you get when Ruri’s here I guess! ‘Kay, your turn, Megu-chan! Think you can do it too~? I’ll be watching!

Ever since way back when, Megu-chan and I would hang around in each other’s rooms a lot. Not just to play around together though. Like, yesterday, I plopped into Megu-chan’s bed like I usually do, and just played some games on my own. Megu-chan was sitting at her desk, and suddenly screamed “Mgya—!” which made Ruri shriek “Mgya–!” I thought, what's now, but when I looked over at Megu-chan, she was playing the same game as Ruri. Ain’t no way! But I guess she was having a hard time beating it, and when Ruri said “Come on, it’s not THAT hard,” Megu-chan yelled “Let’s see you do it then!” So I did it. I won. I’ve never seen Megu-chan make a face like that before, it was hilarious!

Ruri really loves the lyrics to “Identity.” The outfits aren’t the usual type for Ruri to wear either, right? Since it’s a 'tradition song' and all, it gives Ruri goosebumps, like, wow, this is where Ruri takes the baton. When Megu-chan first came to me and said “This is Mira-cra Park’s traditional song!” Ruri’s first thought was “Woah, I love the lyrics!” It’s a song that makes you want to do your best. It’s got cute parts, and parts that make you want to get up and have fun, but deep down, it’s about supporting you to keep trying and never lose heart. Plenty of stuff might make you feel like life’s a neverending series of hardships, but that’s what makes lyrics that tell you to “do your best, I’m watching” so great! I’m glad to know I’ve got people looking out for me! Well, that’s just Ruri’s impression of the lyrics, at least.
