Hanamusubi is a song we wrote specifically for this live show. Of course, I helped make the song too. But when we finally performed it on stage, I felt like I finally understood what the song really means. It’s not like it was my first time performing live in front of people. But... I don’t know how to explain it... it felt so hard to let go. I didn’t want it to end. Ughhh, seriously… Hime and Kosuzu are so mean! They teasing me non-stop, “Ginko-chan, you’re definitely going to cry.” Did you cry? Well... that’s a secret...

It’s a song about a place where memories linger, for hearts that can’t let go, almost like a love song. The lyric about promise being a red thread was Kozue-senpai’s idea, and the line about a flower blooming was Kaho-senpai’s idea. Kozue-senpai always has such great taste, but Kaho-senpai is surprisingly romantic too. I’m a little envious that they can create lyrics this beautiful. I like reading too, but I usually stick to mysteries... Maybe I should try reading more love stories? Someday, I might even write a real love song. Hmm... no, probably not. I don’t think so. Honestly, I don’t really understand those kinds of feelings, so I’d leave it to the seniors when that time comes. Eh, I might end up having to sing some outrageous lyric? No way!
