Hasunosora Karuta - Momose Ginko
I'm Momose Ginko. Today, I've come to visit Oyama Shrine. Oyama Shrine is easily reachable from Kanazawa Station, so it's a very popular site for tourists. The shrine is dedicated to the famous Maeda Toshiie and his wife, Omatsu no Kata. It is a very familiar shrine to the people of Kanazawa. Since we're all here, I'd like you all to join your hands in prayer through my livestream.

Afternoon. I'm Momose Ginko. Today, I'd like to introduce you to two forms of traditionally passed down culture, the koto and Kaga Yuzen. Both were cultivated as part of the rich culture of Kaga-Hyakumangoku. The Kaga Yuzen I am wearing bears the Kaga Gosai, which refers to the five traditional colors of Kaga Yuzen. The five colors of crimson, indigo, ocher, dark green, and royal purple form the floral and plant patterns that characterize this dyeing technique. The koto was also widely loved in Kanazawa as a symbol of refinement among women in samurai families. Though I cannot play it, my grandmother is very skilled at it. That being said, I think I'd like to try it myself. If I play it well, I'd appreciate your compliments, hmhm.

Hah... Getting to wear Kaga Yuzen so soon after the New Year... This is a good sign for the coming year... Ah... S-Sorry, I got a little carried away. Um... right. How was your New Year? I think mine was probably more lively than usual. We'd just finished the Love Live! Hokuriku regionals, so we had a watch party at our house. I'm happy that they're supportive of me, but they take it so far sometimes that it can get a little embarrassing. I'm just glad Hime was there. Oh, right. Right after spending the New Year at her house, her sister got busy with work, so she spent the following days staying over at my house. But after hearing about it, Kosuzu thought that it sounded really nice, so she came right back from Fukui. And for some reason, instead of going back to the dorm, she chose to stay at my place... We ended up having a sleepover in the same room, just like back in July. Now that takes me back... I can't believe it's already been over half a year since then. The Love Live! victory we promised back then is within our grasp. I'll be sure to do my very best.

Ginko: You could've had a relaxing vacation in Fukui... Kosuzu: Ehehe, I missed you, Ginko-chan!
