Ah, I was picking up seashells. Want to join me? Ceras-san had been so eager to play at the beach, but once we actually got here, she just wandered around not knowing what to do. Hehe. Honestly, she always needs someone to watch over her. In Ishikawa Prefecture, there’s Masuhoura Beach, one of the three famous small shellfish spots in Japan. I’d love for us all to go there together someday.

So, this is Cerise Bouquet's new song, Atarayo Hanabi. Um... yes. I'm sure you have a lot to say, but could you please listen to me for now? Well... up until now I've pretty much left the lyrics up to Kaho-senpai, so I thought I'd write it myself this time. When I told her, she said, “I’d love to hear a love song from you, Ginko-chan.” You see, I've been studying love recently, so I thought maybe I could write one now, so I took on the challenge. And then... this is what I came up with... It's a little different from the lyrics Kaho-senpai writes, isn't it? I guess it's just my personality...

In the end, I still didn't really understand love, but I feel like I've somehow come to understand the feeling of being in love. When you find someone you like, you want that person to only look at you. Wanting to keep them all to yourself, forever and ever. But in reality, I understand she isn’t kind just to me, but to everyone equally. I'm scared that my selfishness might distort that kindness. Even so, I'm happy that she chose me. But really, these feelings aren’t just about love, are they? They’re also the same when it comes to friends. I think it’s hard to draw a clear line between the two. I think these lyrics really show my troublesome side. I hope you enjoy it.
