Wah... seniors from the choir club...! I’m sorry. Thank you so much for always taking care of Kaho-senpai! Ena-senpai and Biwako-senpai always lend us a hand with our live shows, and afterward, they never fail to share their thoughts with us. They’re such kind seniors. They’re really close with Kaho-senpai. The other day, I got a little too relaxed around them, and accidentally calling them casually, just like when I talk to Kaho-senpai. I’m reflecting on that now...

“Otome Anthology”, this song conveys a different set of feelings from “Hitoyo ni Yume ga Saku You ni”. Usually, when I write songs, I just throw myself into it with a mindset of ‘I’ve got to do this somehow.’ But this time, I wanted to create something that would mark an important milestone for me. Maybe because of that, making it was really difficult. So many times along the way, I thought, “No, this isn’t right. I can express this better. My feelings is more stronger than this.”, i just couldn’t decide what to keep or cut, and I ended up troubling Kaho-senpai a lot because of it. It feels like I’ve been changing little by little… becoming more and more selfish, in a way. What do you think? Could you still accept someone like me?

Because of that, I felt a lot of pressure to make sure I did it justice... but, well, putting that aside, it’s October of my second year in high school now. I’m standing in the same place where Kozue-senpai once stood when she created Senpen Banka.” The piano melodies you taught me, the notes you left behind. All of it still supports me. It’s what makes this moment feel so special. I don’t really know how to put it into words, but I poured all of my feelings into this song. If it’s alright, I’d be so happy if Kozue-senpai happened to hear it someday, wherever you might be. Maybe I should send you a message for once...?
