Alrighty, here I go, I’m gonna do it! Watch this, Sayaka-senpai! Hrgh~! Fifth-times-the-charm, fried egg challenge complete! Yay! Yippee! Wahoo! Hu-, huh? We ran out of the side dish? Ah—! Tsuzuri-senpai, don’t start eating before we’re done!

This all happened a month ago, but when Kachimachi first started here at school, Kachimachi was pretty reckless trying to find something I can call my own. I used to think, I shouldn’t give up no matter how many times I fail. Now... Hmm... I dunno. It’s not quite the same. As per usual, I kinda suck with words. Sayaka-senpai is a seriously amazing person. Same with Tsuzuri-senpai, and the other upperclassmen, they all have something they want to do, and they do their best to see it through. Watching stuff like that made me think it’s really cool to keep pushing towards some kind of ultimate goal, even if you mess up along the way. achimachi doesn’t really have a goal like that, but... Kachimachi wants to be like Sayaka-senpai someday. Wait? Did I find my goal?

One month... It's been one month, huh. It went by in a flash. Like, a blink of an eye! Kachimachi’s never realized how fast time passes before. Back at home, and even in school, time always seemed to move so slowly. ‘Ah, it’s still noon huh?’ Or, ‘it’s only been 10 minutes since first period started?’ I wasn’t really taking on as many challenges back then either, but...Leaving home, coming to this dorm-system school... It made me think of all sorts of things I wanna do! I’m sure it’s thanks to everyone else doing their best with their own stuff! Everybody thinks of things Kachimachi could never come up with on my own! Everyday is such a blast!
