Kahimahi, whaf houlf I hu fow!? When you asked if I wanted any, I snapped straight into a bite, but now I’m stuck! I can’t get the mochi to break, this is big trouble! Urh, Tsuzuri-senpaaai! Save meeee~!

This is a song about the future. The things you rely on are your compass. Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. For all I know, Kachimachi might not be here anymore tomorrow. But that’s why right now, the best we can do is take another step forward. Tsuzuri-senpai likes to compare how we live our lives to a journey. Maybe that’s why she likes “Mirage Voyage” so much. We never know where we’ll end up next, or if there’ll be any problems ahead. Tsuzuri-senpai’s answer to that is “COMPASS.” No matter what happens, you can’t stop in place. You face it all head on, and press forward, even in the midst of a storm. But you know, I think having a compass around like that is very reassuring. For Tsuzuri-senpai, “COMPASS” is thanks to the 3 years she spent here. There’s a lot of lyrics in it Kachimachi still doesn’t understand, but... there is one thing I’m sure of. I’ll need to listen to this song again once I’ve become a third year. I hope at that point, it can become Kachimachi’s compass too.

I wonder how Kachimachi should approach next year. I sang this song while thinking about that. Our 3 person Dollchestra ends this month, which gives me a lot to contemplate. I’ll definitely treasure this performance. But, what would that mean? Obviously I can’t just brush it off. This is the compass that let Tsuzuri-senpai spread her wings. What can the two of us who’re staying behind do? Dedicate the future Dollchestra to Tsuzuri-senpai? I’ll need to do my best to make it something worth being proud of, but... I don’t have a good answer just yet. But, I’ll find it. Kachimachi will move forward too. I’ll believe there’s something wonderful waiting there. There’s lots of words in “COMPASS” that Kachimachi loves! Like, “The sky stopped crying!” That’s why, no matter how much it rains, Kachimachi won’t give up!
