Ahh, this laid-back and chill vibe, it’s so totally Ruri-chan! Roasted sweet potatoes under the autumn sky are just irresistible. It’s fine because it’s meant for outdoor activity, but I heard Ruri-senpai tried to do this on the dorm courtyard... now that’s pretty legendary.

Ginko-chan found this amazing location for us, and of course, we had to use it for photo shoot. So I went ahead and asked her to design an outfit that would fit the place. With the Zuiren Festival prep keeping us busy, only the members whose schedules matched could take part. But man, it was a lot of fun. At first, Ginko-chan hesitated, as ideas like these don’t come easily for her. but it wasn’t like we just dumped everything on her. We all brainstormed together, throwing out different ideas. She was a little hesitant at first, but gradually she got motivated, thinking she needed to create a whole new wardrobe. That’s one of the things I really admire about her. She’s such a dedicated learner. In the end, most of my ideas weren’t really used. That’s totally fine. Just look at the photos. She turned it into something far more beautiful and captivating than anything I could have imagined.

Come to think of it, the other day I finally went on an outdoor trip with Ruri-senpai after such a long time. We’d been talking about going for ages. Well, mostly me nagging that I really wanted to go. But it kept getting postponed because it was ridiculously hot or rainy, and there were so many other things we had to take care of. But finally, we managed to go out together. Rurichan-senpai was amazing! She knew exactly how to get into the campsite, pitch a tent, and start a fire. The calm expression on Ruri's face as she gazed at the burning flames was irresistible. She made roasted sweet potatoes and said, “This is what autumn is all about.” It was such a happy moment. I really want to go again, maybe next autumn. Next time, I’ll bring Megu-chan-senpai, and it would be even better if my juniors could come too.
